Gaming with an infant. Not necessarily the easiest task but one that we still want to accomplish. This week, I look at what games worked for us when trying to sneak in a play or two around our infants schedule. Spoiler alert but Carcassonne has undoubtedly been the best. Carcassonne is hands down the best game to play with an infant in your hands. No cards to hold, very few components to manipulate, centralized playing area, etc. It does it all. Dear @strongholdgames. I need a deluxe box, similar to the Scythe treatment. I support your game and purchase all the content but I don't think there's another purchase in me until I can fit all items comfortably in a single storage unit. Hauling down three boxes (plus the raised lid box due to the additional maps) is taking a toll on my enjoyment of the game, not to mention storing it. Please let me know that a deluxe box is in the work. Tokyo Highway is a great dexterity game that I had the fortune of trying at PAX Unplugged 2018. I eventually was able to trade for it and we got it to the table last night. The intracacies of having to dip and duck with the tiny pieces is nerve wracking...especially combined with the mental gymnastics of what roads have been scored upon already. It plays relatively quick and looks great on a table. We finally got Welcome to Dino World to the table, a roll and write that has players creating their own dinosaur zoos. The game features two ways to play: lite mode and danger mode. Lite is a easy way to create a park without the worry of dinosaurs escaping. Danger is all hell breaking loose. This game reminded my group of the same stress that Railroad Ink produced but with a much more fun theme.
